About

Hi, I'm Krishna - a violinist and data scientist from South Africa! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Minor in Music from Temple University, Philadelphia, USA (2022), and I completed my Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Grade 8 examination in Violin Performance with Distinction (2014).

I am a classical musician - it’s a genre I’m deeply in love with and see great value in - but I’m also in love with lots of other styles and genres of music that represent a variety of other cultures and histories. I’m on a journey of exploring more styles!

I love to perform, compose, arrange, make cover music, and teach violin and music theory! Since 2014, I’ve had many wonderful experiences sharing music with others in the forms of: wedding performances, solo performance with orchestra, solo recitals, chamber ensemble performance (duets/trios), orchestral performance, and teaching my students.
